My dick poem rejected again and again so here goes

A Dick Poem

It leads and I march, I’m sorry to say
This procreant urge that has commanded my days
I’ve reproduced twice so please go away
But a stubborn libido is bound here to stay

My thoughts are under constant restraint
For it is what it is and it is what it ain’t
And Augustine was rarely a saint
Until he repented without any complaint

So to my best days a clear “adios”
For all men from ditch diggers to high Pharaohs
Can’t help but follow where ever it goes
A simple case of anatomy, I must suppose

A Poem That Keeps Me Going

I’ve heard the great philosophers stew
that we come from nothing — we end there too
and whats in between is a bugaboo
but not for me I’m a soul that true

to that fact that fact that beautiful fact that fact

Lets take a ride off the beaten track
to the light that is sweet as a cracker jack
where the idea of nothing can’t detract

from that fact that fact that beautiful fact that fact

When I get lost in the complexity
something strange gets ahold of me
I stop myself to plainly see
that theres a lot going on beneath reality

from that fact that fact that beautiful fact that fact

Where the universe fits like a shoulder pack
as big as it is, I’m bigger than that
this spirit inside keeps me coming back

to that fact that fact that beautiful fact that fact

For nature errs on beauty’s side
like the morning glory I take it in stride
a clear blue day stands bonafide
and this thought is magnified

by that fact that fact that beautiful fact that fact

Four Twenty

It enhances the moment
at the cost of memory
and when taken to extreme
approaches extra-sensory

Medicine can be this or that
what you see is clearly not
how you see, if gods exist,
adds nothing to their plot

Smoke, then think and think some more
at what cost is any benefit
life is performance onstage
I prefer the orchestra pit
